Handbook v2.1 + recorded June 2026 corrections

The latest recorded content update is June 18, 2026. This is a record of included changes, not a new review date for every page. Station assignments, apparatus, staffing, and procedures can change. Follow current OFD direction and confirm operational questions with your instructor.

Some illustrations were extracted from the version 2.0 handbook. Later OFD-provided diagrams and corrections are identified in their captions. Illustrations do not override the current written guidance.

Recorded content updates

  1. June 18, 2026 — Department organization. Added the organization chart provided through the existing OFD review process, with its June 11 source date shown alongside the diagram.
  2. June 15, 2026 — Assignment corrections. Incorporated the recorded corrections for water tenders at Stations 27 and 15, Station 23's Type VI count, and the Academy's place in Operations. Locations remain subject to change.
